Common questions

Where do you pick up from?

We pick up from resorts throughout the Mamanuca group — including Tokoriki, Mana, Malolo, Castaway and Matamanoa — as well as Denarau Marina by arrangement.

Do I need experience to go spearfishing or snorkelling?

No. Vurabere and the crew run trips for complete beginners as well as experienced spearos. We brief you before you get in the water and stay close by.

Is it safe for children?

Yes. We carry life jackets in every size, including toddler sizes, and choose calm, sheltered sites for families with young kids.

What does a trip cost?

Pricing depends on the trip type, duration and group size. We have budget-friendly options for all groups — message us and we'll quote your trip.

How do I pay?

Cash or card are both accepted.

What if the weather is bad?

Safety comes first. If conditions aren't right we'll talk you through the options and reschedule or adjust the trip where we can.

Can you do island transfers?

Yes — resort to resort, or back to Denarau when the ferry timetable doesn't line up with your flight.

What should I bring?

Sunscreen, a hat, a towel, water and a dry bag for anything you'd rather keep out of the spray. Rods, tackle, snorkel gear and jackets are supplied.
